Kingshurst Primary School was opened in January 2008 at an overall cost of £7m.

This was the first completed school as part of the North Solihull Primary School Development Programme and a large milestone in the progress of the project.

Representing the combination of a separate infant and junior school the campus provides a brand new two form entry school to support modern curriculum delivery including a Children's Centre and Adult Learning Room (linked to the local Further Education College) developed as part of an integrated scheme.

The school will form a big part of the new Kingshurst Village Centre when it is built, bringing a safe and attractive community centre to the area.
